Strong Kids Campaign

The Y’s annual campaign and its special events like the Charity Auction & Dinner and Golf Tournament raises funds each year to benefit the Y CARES Financial Assistance Program. 

Y CARES provides scholarships to local children and families in need so they can experience Y programs and services such as child care, before and after school care, day camp and more - regardless of their ability to pay. Over the past three years, the Y has provided more than $1 million dollars in financial assistance to more than 5,000 local children, adults and families.

$50        a young girl develops life changing skills in her swim lessons

$150      a child can gain new skills and confidence at 1 week of day camp

$250     a grandmother raising a grandchild can receive 1 month of
               after school child care

$500     a single dad joins the Y and visits weekly with his children

$1,000  the working parents of a toddler can have 5 weeks of child care
