Making good on their promise to "build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities", the Merrimack and Nashua branches of the YMCA of Greater Nashua decided that their swim teams would join forces. Now combined, the STORM is the only team representing the YMCA of Greater Nashua and the team will continue to be a fierce competitor! There is always the opportunity for the swimmers to feel a part of a team, make new friends, and reap the health benefits that the sport of swimming has to offer. Combining teams is another positive step in the YMCA's mission to instill values and provide opportunities for lifelong personal growth and the development of a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
Competition is required during the winter and summer seasons. All winter and summer season swimmers are registered with USA Swimming. New swimmers are subject to an evaluation and registration restrictions do apply. All swimmers must have a "family information" sheet on file. Fall/Pre Season September
Winter/Regular October - March
Spring April - May
Summer June - August
