Introduction to Olympic Archery (Offered 1/4, 1/16 & 1/8 OR 1/11, 1/13 & 1/15) Form and safety will be emphasized. Participants will enjoy archery games and learn how to keep score. No experience required. Basic equipment provided.
Olympic Archery (Offered 1/12 & 1/14)
Shooting techniques, mental concentration and equipment care are a few of the highlights. Participants will learn the rules of competition and will be invited to participate in local, regional, and national tournaments. Participants must have taken the introduction class or have 1 year of shooting experience. Basic equipment provided.
Instructor Tiffany Shiebler was the Archery Director at Camp Sargent this past summer. She is a Level I Certified Instructor with the National Archery Association and trained under Level III and IV instructors for several years. Having participated in both town recreational classes and formal lessons in Olympic style archery, Tiffany has first-hand knowledge of the enjoyment archery brings to all ages.
