Camp Important Information
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS:
A $25 non refundable deposit per week/per camper is due at time of registration
1. Payment Option 1 – Pay in full at time of registration
2. Payment Option 2 – At the time of registration pay only the $25 non-refundable deposit (per week/per camper) then the balance will be set up for weekly auto drafts via credit/debit card or checking. Funds will be scheduled for auto draft on the Friday prior to camp week registered for.
Camp registration will close at 6:00pm every Friday for the upcoming week. No exceptions to this rule will be made. This is to ensure that no camper group has too many children per counselor and for the safety of your child.
NO CAMP ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH – ALL CAMPS FOR THAT WEEK HAVE BEEN PRO-RATED.
REFER A FRIEND DISCOUNT:
Any 2012 registered camper who refers a “new camper”, from a different family, will receive $25 reduction in their fee. Any referred camper must be registered for a minimum of two weeks and cannot be a 2011 camper. There is no limit to the amount of referrals that a family can make (i.e. 4 new campers = $100). Please note that families receiving scholarships are not eligible for the discount. The $25 credit is per new camper and not per new camper week.
SIBLING DISCOUNT:
Applicable for siblings within the same household and signing up for the same camp session/s at Camp Sargent, Camp Nashua or Camp Merrimack. Discount cannot be used in conjuction with any other discount or promotion and cannot be transferred. 1st Sibling – $10 / 2nd Sibling – $15 / 3rd Sibling – $20
CAMP HOURS:
Most camps run 9:00am-4:00pm with the exception of Merrimack Young Explorers and Nashua Preschool Camps.
PRE AND POST CAMP CARE:
$30 per child/per week (includes both pre and post care – no reduction in fee for just 1 segment of care)
Supervised care for your child before and after regular camp hours. (7am-9am & 4pm-6pm)
Pre and Post Care is held for Camp Sargent primarily at the front field, basketball court and cover pavillion. The Merrimack and Nashua Ys will hold Pre/Post Care in their gyms and after school areas.
BUSING:
$40 per camper/per week (space limited)
Stop #1 7:55am & 5:00pm Griffin Memorial School (Litchfield)
Stop #2 8:10am & 4:48pm Alvirne High School (Hudson)
Stop #3 8:15am & 4:40pm Library Street School (Hudson)
Stop #4 8:27am & 4:28pm Fairgrounds Elementary School (Nashua)
Stop #5 8:35am & 4:20pm Nashua Y
Stop #6 8:45am & 4:10pm Merrimack Y
Last stop is Camp Sargent and transportation leaves from that facility in the afternoon approximately at 4:00pm.
NEW: Parents, if you live or work closer to the Nashua Y, you can register your child for the bus to take them to either Camp Sargent or Camp Merrimack and it will drop them back off at the Nashua Y in the afternoon! see stop #5 listing above.
